Consumables - Straith cup grinding stones

The manufacturer of the swing grinder supplies special straight cup grinding stones for dry grinding of samples of white èást iron and steel, in following qualities:

Al2O3-corundum, middle grain size 32- 40, hardness soft "J"
SiC-carbide, middle grain size 40-60, hardness midle "L-M"
Both types of grinding stones have extraordinary porous construction of the inner structure which prevents the so called burning ( i.e.burning-up of carbon ) in the material to be ground .
The grinding stones made of SiC material have a till ten times longer service life, however, it is recommended to regrind slightly the samples after the rough grinding on the HK 150 grinder before the analysis. The regrinding should be made on a disc grinder by means of a paper disc with Al2O3. We supply disk grinders under mark HK350 /14"/ and /or HK200 series /8"/ and a belt grinder HK 110 / belt of 4"/.
